Translucent Acrylic Sheet
A semi-transparent sheet of acrylic is one that has had specific components added to the acrylic substance to provide a specified level of light transmittance and the ability to modify that transmission. It keeps the great qualities of acrylic sheet, like its high mechanical strength and resistance to weather. This kind of acrylic sheet is perfect for any backlighting application, laser cutting/engraving, CNC routing, manufacturing, and ordinary acrylic sheet use because of its special ability to remain opaque while permitting a specific amount of light transmission. It is very easy to bend and engrave, and it is highly flexible. A UV coating is applied to each acrylic sheet to stop it from yellowing when used outside. They are used outdoors for eight to ten years. In addition, translucent acrylic sheets can be cut using lasers or CNC machines without producing any chemicals.
