LGP or Light Guide Panel

A high-performance optical plate called an LGP light guide plate (Light Guide Plate) is made for lighting equipment and backlight displays. It boasts outstanding optical transparency and light-guiding capabilities and is composed of optical grade acrylic (PMMA). Converting point or line light sources into homogeneous surface light sources is its primary purpose.It is widely used in liquid crystal display (LCD), advertising light boxes, lighting fixtures and other fields.
The working principle of the light guide plate is to evenly reflect and scatter light from the incident end of the light source to the entire board surface through the microstructure dots on the surface of the plate or the dots printed on the back, so as to achieve efficient light energy utilization and uniform light distribution. The optical design of the LGP light guide plate can be customized according to customer needs, including dot density, distribution mode and surface treatment method (such as mirror, frosted or microstructure) to meet the optical effect requirements of different application scenarios.
